Andrew and Fay Grace warmly welcome you to our 18th century farmhouse, positioned at the time of the enclosures to delight in views over the Capability Brown landscape surrounding Sledmere House and the sweeping vista 30 miles South to the Humber Estuary.Savour the rich variety of flora and fauna throughout the 500 acre farm, managed with particular regard for the environment. East Yorkshire is perfect walking and riding countryside so bring your horse or dog to share such pleasures as the Wolds Way or the Heritage Ride. A hard tennis court is available for the more energetic or simply relax in the pretty, walled garden.The double/family room in the farmhouse offers that little bit extra with its antiquie furniture and full bathroom suite. The converted ground floor bedrooms offer ensuite showers, one with disabled access. All rooms have TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee tray with complimentary biscuits and refreshing local mineral water. Any of the bedrooms can be combined with adjacent, newly-equipped, self-catering facilities. The cosy living room features an original open fire range. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave and a washer/dryer. For parties of 6 or more the separate dining room is available. Life Hill is centrally located to explore the East Coast, many fine historic houses & The Deep. Also York, Hull and the North Yorkshire Moors are within 30 minutes drive.

We offer B&B and self-catering accommodation with facilities for disabled. We produce our own apple juice, eggs and preserves. Source local bacon, sausages from Manor Farm Shop and our organic bread is delivered fresh from the Side Oven Bakery. Here you are welcome to bring your dog or horse on holiday too.

By Road:
In the village of Wetwang take turning left beside the pond towards Sledmere. Life Hill Farm is on right at the top of the hill, about 2 miles from Wetwang. Come along drive to the farmhouse.

By Public Transport:
Daily bus service from bus station adjacent to train station, bus no 135. Taxi from Driffield, head towards York A166 to Wetwang. Right at pond, 2 miles top of hill, turn right into drive.

• We offer a choice of bedrooms on a self catering basis, make sure that you choose the room which is most suitable to meet your needs. For example, ground floor double room with disabled facilities, twin bedded room with ensuite shower room. Both these rooms being annex rooms adjacent to the living facilities. Or you may prefer the first floor double room with ensuite bathroom. We can combine up to three bedrooms with the self catering facilities. Please ring if you require accommodation for more than two people.
