Located deep in wooded countryside, but surprisingly close to a shipping river. The cottage is only ten minutes drive from junction 37 on the M62 motorway.

The local historic market town of Howden is only ten minutes away, with its Minster, cobbled streets, local shops, pubs and cafes.
Being so close to a navigable river, visitors will be able to view large ocean going ships.

It is possible to enjoy country pursuits such as walking, fishing, horse riding and golfing locally. York, Hull and Beverley are all easily accessible. These provide many interesting places to visit including York's Jorvik Viking Centre and Minster, The Deep in Hull and the market town and Minster of Beverley. Shopping, A day at the Races, Theatres and Cinemas can all be found within easy reach of Saltmarshe Cottages.
